Vision
Program is designed to expand the cadre of future minority students who enter college through:
  • Mentoring and Coaching
  • Collegiate Preparation Workshops
  • Scholarship Opportunities.
  • Program also exposes minority youth to business professionals and assist in identifying positive career and educational options.

    Target Market
    High School students who demonstrate leadership talent, with a grade point average of C or better; but require additional motivational factors in their life.

    Criteria

    Academic Achievement: High school students with C average or above. The goal is balance – academic achievers mixed with lower academically performing students.

  • School Context: Urban public/parochial suburban, etc.
  • Grade Level and Years of Participation: 9th, 10th, 11th grade.
  • Selection is based on:
  • Application essay
  • Interview
  • Grade level & academic achievement
