Exposure
  • The NBMBAA Annual Conference and Exposition is a six-day event held annually in September/October.  This premiere conference event brings together public and private sector executives from around the world. Students participate in workshops and social events.
  • The NBMBAA Case Competition is a 3-day evet held annually in June. This conference brings today teams (5 students) from each LOT chapter to compete for scholarship funds.
  • Monthly Workshops:

    Opportunity for guest speakers from leadership in the Cleveland Area Diverse topics:
    • Networking/Team Building - First Session of the year. This gives you the opportunity to build your teams. Motivational speaker, Derrick Pledger started the year off!
    • Financial Literacy - Interactive session helping you develop the skill set to earn the things you want, the impact of credit, and making your money last
    • Success Thinking - Panel discussion on the path of careers, demystifying the corporate workplace experience and surrounding yourself with friends/peers who will help you succeed.
    • Presentation Skills - Discussion of common phobias with public speaking. An Ice Breaker session gave students the opportunity to present to everyone the topic the know most about…themselves.
    • Time Management - Helping to think your way to an excellent life! Understand how you can plan an effective use of your time and meet your commitments.
    • Business Etiquette/Networking - Developing skills to help you in new situations. How do you approach people? How do you shake their hand or ask for a business card? Most importantly, how do you develop long term relationships with people!
